First things first: the inbox is closed. Thanks for everyone who sent in their letters!
Now that that’s out of the way, let’s move on to the bigger issue we’d like to address.
You’ve probably noticed that the queue has been empty for over a week now. We won’t be disclosing too much explanation, since some of it is personal, but between work, school, and private family issues, we’ve just been really strapped for free time, and it’s just going to get worse in the upcoming months.
So this is what’s going to happen:
At the nearest possible convenience (whenever two of the three admins can get a day that lines up in their schedules), we’re going to sit down and answer as many letters as we can. We will then set the queue to post ONCE a day. Hopefully that will keep the blog up and running long enough for our personal lives to calm down.
Until then, the blog will be going on hiatus. We apologize in advance to those of you who have letters waiting to be answered, but we will (eventually) get to them. In the meantime, we ask that you please be patient with us.
I have always enjoyed the occasional classic novel. I’ve read through Shakespeare and Austen and am beginning to delve into more contemporary literature after Luxord suggested I “go read a sci-fi book or something.” Upon his non-advice I have therefore recently been reading Pratchett.
Only if you count me teasing him about how bad he is at keeping track of his “kidnapping victims.”
Well if you hadn’t run away…
What, and not go look for Sora and Riku? It’s like you don’t know me at all.
-Kairi and Lea
You say “upcoming” as though someone will actually be successful in starting it. I have my doubts and I would never picks sides in a fight so foolish.
That question may have just broken the universe.
I no longer have any use for Riku. He has proven to be more trouble than he is worth. I have more interesting ideas in mind.
-Ansem, Seeker of Darkness
Your guess is as good a mine. Memory or reality my dark side tends to come back to haunt me. But I’ll work through it.
Alas, I know no such man. And although I do feel a certain fondness for your blatant sentimentality I must inform you that change is the natural course which life takes and while some changes require more orchestration than others, change will take place regardless.
Well thank you! I’m hoping that once all this fightin’ is over, I can get back to my son. It’s just been way too long since we’ve had any solid, quality time together. I’m in this fight for my friends and my son. I’ll make you proud, Maxie!
I’ve had it memorized since the moment I saw that hood fall—you don’t have to tell me twice!
Hey, I can’t be just a one-trick poney! Yen Sid and Kairi are riding my tail making sure I’ve got all my basics covered. I’ll definitely it keep in mind, though.
Well, I like my own dad well enough. He seems like an interesting guy, I guess…
I’ll say! Guy lives on laughs and gives out cookies? When can we meet him?
-Riku and Sora
Please, I’m a professional.
Who’s David Bowie?
Only one of the greatest artists of all time! As much I usually love praise, I might have to just step down a bit from that comparison. It’d feel a bit wrong to consider myself even in the same thought as him!
Well, well, well, aren’t you quite the fanboy.
You hush Axel, I take my craft seriously. He’s one of my biggest inspirations!
-Demyx, Axel, and Roxas
You really want us to go through each and every one of them? There’s kind of a lot of us…
No, I got this.
Luxord, Xigbar, you and your brats: We good.
Vexen, Lexaeus, Zexion, Marluxia, Xemnas: Meh, not the best conversation partners, but tolerable.
Saïx, Larxene, and Xaldin: Bad! Very bad! I stay away from them like my life depends upon it!
Hey! Th-they’re not brats!
Eh?…Well, that’s what Xigbar calls ‘em. Says it just like that too, “Axel’s brats.”
….Figures he’d be the one saying that. Honestly, I don’t really give our comrades any thought outside missions and work-related stuff. Xion and Roxas might just be the only ones I like here, really…
-Axel and Demyx
